The Philadelphia Amtrak Station is inside the 30th Street Station on the edge of Philadelphia’s Center City. Next to the Schuylkill River, University of Pennsylvania and Drexel University, the station is also a hub for commuter trains and a SEPTA subway station is a short walk away.

  • The Megabus and SEPTA trolleys stop outside the station
  • Transfer to or from one of the many SEPTA regional trains inside the 30th Street Station, including the Airport Line that travels to and from the Philadelphia Airport
  • The commuter trains are nicer than the subway trains if you have a choice in connection
  • You have to walk outside the Amtrak station to reach the subway station on the MFL line
  • Arrive 30 minutes early, or 45 minutes early if you need to check bags or require extra assistance
