Tips and Things to Know

There is one train in each direction daily on the Southwest Chief route.
The Texas Eagle and Sunset Limited trains are combined for all stops in Arizona. Frequency is three days per week.
The historic La Posada Hotel is next to the Winslow station.
Three stations are near or next to Route 66: Flagstaff, Winslow and Kingman.
Amtrak provides bus service between Phoenix and the Maricopa station if you select Phoenix as your start or end station. Drive time is about 40 minutes.
