Tennessee has two Amtrak train stations, both in the western part of the state along the City of New Orleans route. From these stations, you can travel to Chicago and New Orleans without any transfers. Memphis is the only major Tennessee city with rail service; you’ll need to find alternate transportation for other big cities. One option is FlixBus, which can take you to Nashville and Knoxville.
