Two Amtrak routes travel to Vermont each day. You can visit many charming towns and go skiing or hiking in the mountains. Popular stops include Montpelier, Burlington, Brattleboro and Rutland.

Both are regional East Coast routes and you may need to travel to New York City, Philadelphia or Washington D.C. to reach the Vermont trains.
