Vermont has more than 10 Amtrak stations across the state, which makes it easy to travel to the mountains for skiing and hiking or to charming towns. Stations are on two routes: the Vermonter and Ethan Allen Express. Both stop in New York City and the Vermonter goes as far south as Washington D.C.
