Things to Know
- Rideshare is a great option to reach Disney World after you get off the train in Orlando or Kissimmee, especially if you are traveling alone or in a small group.
- There is more interstate driving involved if you exit the train in Orlando, but this station is closer to Universal Studios and Epic Universe in case you plan to also visit these theme parks.
- Our preferred station is Kissimmee. There is a quaint main street next to the station with shops and restaurants in walking distance. Walt would approve!
- Enterprise, Budget and Hertz rental car companies are near the Kissimmee Amtrak Station. Enterprise usually can pick up customers with rental reservations. Call ahead to confirm a pick up.
- The train ride from Tampa to Kissimmee is about 1.5 hours and is a way to avoid traffic on I-4.
- If you’re traveling from South Florida, the Brightline train is the faster option and will take you to the Orlando airport. There you can use rideshare or use a shuttle service like Mears Connect.
