Maryland Amtrak Routes

Acela and Northeast Regional trains offer frequent service in Maryland, making them a convenient way to reach cities such as Washington D.C., Philadelphia, and New York City. The longest routes (Cardinal, Crescent, Floridian, Silver Meteor) are more likely to have delays, so if you’re not traveling far, book tickets on a different route for a greater chance of on-time arrival. Other travel options include the Vermonter to New England, Carolinian to North Carolina, and the Palmetto to South Carolina and Georgia.
