Indianapolis (IND)
The Indianapolis Amtrak station is at 350 South Illinois Street in the downtown Wholesale District, a short walk from the Indiana Convention Center, Gainbridge Fieldhouse, and Lucas Oil Stadium. Trains on Amtrak’s Cardinal route stop here three times each week, with westbound trains arriving very early in the morning and eastbound trains departing around midnight.
Transportation: Lyft and Uber are recommended for getting to the station and reaching your final destination after you arrive (unless it is a short walk away). There are also connections to Greyhound and other regional buses at the station. Local bus service is provided by IndyGo, but you’ll need to walk to a nearby stop.
Nearby Hotels: The Crown Plaza Union Station is inside the train station, but light sleepers should be aware of the gentle rumble and vibrations from the active freight and passenger tracks. Omni Severin Hotel and Homewood Suites are a short walk away as alternate options.
