Overview

Two Amtrak trains stop in Fort Lauderdale each day. You’ll need to use rideshare or a taxi to reach downtown (10 minutes away) or the beach (about 20 minutes away).

Routes

Amtrak’s Silver Meteor and Silver Star trains stop in Fort Lauderdale. Both routes travel along the East Coast from New York City. Washington D.C. and New York City are two common transfer points to reach these trains.

Schedule

Trains arrive in Fort Lauderdale around dinnertime. Departures are in the morning and midday.
