Baltimore has two Amtrak stations: BWI Airport Station near the airport of the same name and one in downtown Baltimore (Baltimore Penn Station). Choose from the following routes to reach these stations:
- Northeast Regional
- Acela Express
- Palmetto
- Vermonter
- Cardinal (Penn Station only)
- Carolinian (Penn Station only)
- Crescent (Penn Station only)
- Silver Meteor (Penn Station only)
- Silver Star (Penn Station only)
Things to Know
- Use the ticket booking feature on the Amtrak website or Google Maps to find the best route based on your travel date
- All connecting trains travel along the East Coast except for the Cardinal, Carolinian and Crescent
- BWI Airport Station is closer to Annapolis and has a free shuttle to the airport
- Most northbound trains to Baltimore arrive in the morning, otherwise, most trains arrive in the early evening. There are also Acela and Northeast Regional trains that arrive and depart daily at many different times.
