All Amtrak routes in Colorado operate with one train in each direction daily. The Winter Park Express schedule allows for a day trip to the Winter Park Resort.

Tip and Things to Know
- There are guided day trips to the Rocky Mountains from Denver.
- Denver Union Station is a beautifully restored 1914 landmark that is filled with restaurants, bars, shops, and even a hotel.
- Book a stay at the Glenwood Hot Springs Resort in walking distance of the Glenwood Springs station to soak in the large hot spring pools.
- A free shuttle (black line) at the Fraser-Winter Park Amtrak station will take you to downtown Winter Park and the Winter Park Resort.
- For wineries, unique shops and art galleries, plan a trip to Grand Junction. The Colorado National Monument is also nearby, but you’ll need to rent a car.
