Multiple Amtrak trains travel to North Carolina each day. You can board trains in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York City.

Other Things to Know
There are no Amtrak train stations in Asheville, Chapel Hill, Wilmington or the Outer Banks. Connecting bus service to Wilmington is available if you choose this destination on the Amtrak website.
