If you’re planning to visit Disneyland California, Amtrak can get you within three miles of the original Disney theme park. The closest train station is the Anaheim Regional Transportation Intermodal Center (ARTIC) station on the Pacific Surfliner Amtrak route. From there, you can transfer to the Anaheim Resort Transportation shuttle #15 to reach the Disneyland resort or request a Taxi, Uber or Lyft ride at the Amtrak station.
There are multiple Pacific Surfliner trains each day with stops at California cities including San Diego, Los Angeles, Burbank and Santa Barbara. If you don’t live near one of the stops on the route, in most cases you will need to travel to L.A.’s Union Station and transfer to the Surfliner there. Transfers to Disneyland from Amtrak
- Uber and Lyft rides are the easiest and fastest option to reach Disneyland from the Anaheim Amtrak station. Travel time is between 15 and 20 minutes without traffic.
- Via shuttle bus 15, the trip time is about 30 minutes, with a bus frequency of every 20 minutes. Service typically starts about one hour before the park opens to 30 minutes after the park closes. Plan to bring cash for the fare or download the mobile app for e-tickets.
