Amtrak routes with dining cars

Amtrak ended traditional dining car service on some of its routes east of the Mississippi River. However, many of the scenic, long-distance trains still have a dining car where you can sit and order meals during your rail trip. View the list below to learn more.

Dining Car Routes

Note that dining car seating is also available on some routes using the new flexible dining plan, but just as a place to sit for sleeper car passengers (no servers). But if you are looking for the classic Amtrak dining experience with waitstaff, book a ticket on one of the above routes.
