Things to Know
- Choose a Flex Fare or business class ticket to get a refund up until train departure. Note that business class tickets are only available on select routes.
- If you book a private room on a sleeper car route, you can cancel and get a refund 121 days or more (four months) before departure.
- If possible, purchase Amtrak tickets with a credit card that offers travel insurance for extra peace of mind. Amtrak also offers trip insurance for an extra fee.
